“People can come here and know they can get their needs met.”

Service Through Charity

Service is an essential part of the Catholic Church’s mission to treat every person as Christ would treat them. In Michigan, Catholic charitable agencies and parishes find ways to meet community needs, providing food, clothing, shelter, counseling, adoption and foster care services, employment training, legal assistance, and refugee resettlement. In all of this work, the Catholic Church respects the life and dignity of all people in need, regardless of their faith, gender, age, or income.
